Red de Carreteras de Occidente, S.A.B. of C.V. (RCO) was incorporated in Mexico City on August 13, 2007, after the consortium formed by Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners and Empresas ICA was declared the winner of the FARAC I Concession Title, whose object is to manage the privatized packaged of federal roads designated "Central-West Package".
RCO has specialized in the development and operation of high-specification highways in Mexico. The main activities carried out by RCO include toll collection, maintenance of the road infrastructure, customer service, supervision of the construction and rehabilitation of roads and the development and operation of auxiliary services.
Currently, RCO administers five highway concessions that include eleven highways with a total length of 876.5 km. The motorway network managed by RCO is one of the most important in Mexico and forms the backbone of the communication routes in the central-western region of the country, serving the country's most important industrial corridor (El Bajio) and the two largest cities (Mexico City and Guadalajara).
- Red de Carreteras de Occidente, S.A.P.I. de C.V. ("RCO") confirms the payment of a cash distribution to its shareholders.
- RCO confirms that on December 14, 2022, it paid a new cash distribution to its shareholders for an amount of $2,000'000,000.00 MXN (Two billion Pesos 00/100 MXN), which was made proportionally to all RCO shareholders.
